Review article signifies about the mechanism of Molecular Probes and its utilization for Hepatitis B Virus quantitation. Review also includes the correlation and importance of various serological markers and HBV viral load titer measured by Real Time Chemistry. Roche HBV DNA Quantitative assay is very useful for the monitoring of patients undergoing antiviral treatment. To the best of my knowledge, Roche also used to update about any mutational changes occurring in HBV genotypes globally and thus keeps on innovating by useful changes by optimizing and standardizing protocols.
