  • Other Comments: Well written paper with original contribution but not new Several PSA values said to reflect biochemical recurrence were referred to but not stated. Also in those cases were the postoperative PSA values reflecting recurrence were given, stating the pre-op values would have been helpful

    The correlation between PSA and Glisson grading of prostate cancer has been and is still an interesting area of research.

    The diagnosis of prostate cancer based on PSA is not acceptable , biopsies may increase the accuracy of diagnosis.

    MR of prostate is contributing significantly to diagnosis and local staging.

    All of this modalities need to be exhausted before deciding on prostatectomy.

    Overall, a very well written article.  The article would have benefitted from a couple of examples, alongwith imaging and histology to show thw cases where there was PSA failure and where there was marginal involvement.
