The conclusion in the abstract did not reflect the findings of the study and needs a revisit.

Introduction: Despite the good review of the literature, the authors did not justify the need for the study by referencing previous studies in their country that reported complications and reasons for discontinuation of IUCD. Though these were referred to in the discussion,it would have been better if some of them featured in the introduction.

Methods and results: The authors assessed source of information on IUCD and not awareness of availability of IUCD as this is inappropriate considering that the women had IUCD in-situ at the time of the study. On the results, the study assessed what action was taken and not actions they would take, so the use of "would" or "will" in reporting the results was wrong.

Abstract: Under result is heavy bleeding the only complication you can mention.

Materials/Methods: Check the spelling of IUCD.

Discussion: Do you know some of the reasons for the complications mentioned.

Conclusion: The conclusion is not specific to this study. The authors are generalizing.

This ms reports the complications of the use of iucd in a regional hospital area and restricts to some findings of interest in a restricted area. As is mentioned the complications are already well known and hence the findings are nothing novel and not of a larger interest. I therefore suggest it to be recast into a short communication. A major disappointment with the ms is the presentation of results and the conclusions drawn. Both these sections need to be properly rewritten. The data of most tables can be pooled to form 1 Or 2 tables.
