Brief Biography:
I am a Postdoctoral fellow at University of California, San Francisco and interested in identifying the mechanisms of autophagy-lysosome activation and, how this organellar system contributes to metabolic reprogramming and aggressive nature of pancreatic cancer. Overall, my research aims to provide insights towards the role of oncogenic Kras in promoting metabolic rewiring of pancreatic cancer to fuel tumor cell growth. Using a combination of metabolite tracing and proteomics analysis the ongoing studies will identify novel pathways specifically fueled by lysosome-derived amino acids that can be exploited for development of anti-cancer therapies
