Dr. Arindam Bose

Brief Biography:


Arindam Bose received his Master’s degree in chemistry from the University of Delhi. He then joined University of Connecticut and earned his Ph.D. in chemistry in 2015 working on DNA damage, mutagenesis, and DNA repair. After a short postdoctoral work at the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute he moved to Boston and joined Harvard Medical School as a Clinical Research Fellow. His major area of research is to implement Patient derived organoid (PDO) and Patient derived xenograft (PDX) models to treat Pancreatic Cancer. He is also working on new combination therapies on patients with Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma. Beside translational research he also investigates mechanism of telomere loss and repair and the role of telomere shortening in aging and cancer.
