Brief Biography:
Devendra Dusane obtained his Ph.D. from University of Pune, India. He investigated the ability of antibacterial compounds isolated from marine epibiotic bacteria to disperse detrimental microbial biofilms. Devendra joined Dr. Tufenkji's lab at McGill university in 2012 as a postdoctoral fellow and continued to pursue his research in antibiofilm compounds, bioactive paper and microbial quorum sensing.

Ph.D. Biotechnology (Institute of Bioinformatics and Biotechnology, University of Pune): 2006-2011.

Antibiofilm strategies and methods to detect biofilms.
