I am a biomedical engineer with over ten years experience in conducting clinically focused translational research, focusing mainly on molecular cardiobiology. I have led interdisciplinary teams in engineering design and have an active interest in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Additionally, I have a proven record of securing funding through grants and fellowships, managing budgets, and producing publishable and marketable results, with a keen awareness of regulatory and legal issues in technology transfer.
