Educational Backgropund: PhD in Biochemistry with specialization in thyroid hormone neuroendocrinology. Major research work is related to explore non-genomic action of thyroid hormones in adult mammalian central nervous system. Masters degree in Biochemistry with specialization in neurochemistry and biochemical pharmacology. Bachelors degree with Chemistry Honors. Research expertise in the area of thyroid neuroendocrinology, cancer biochemistry, basement membrane biology, neurochemistry. Mentored MS students. Received various national and international research grants. Published papers, attended conferecnes etc.
