Brief Biography:
Following MBBS from Rajasthan University, India and MD, Biophysics from All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India, Associate Professor Kailash Narayan completed his PhD from John Curtin School of Medical Research, Australian National University in Canberra, 1981.
He trained as radiation Oncologist in New Zealand and Australia.
Kailash became Senior Consultant Radiation Oncologist in Head and Neck 1988- 1995. He changed his subspecialization to Gynecology Oncology from 1996 to Present. He went on to become a Senior Associate in the Department of Pathology at Melbourne University from 1996 to 1999.
In 2003 he became Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology University of Melbourne.
His main research interests are clinical biology of gynecological cancers, patterns of failure in Gynecological cancers, advanced cervix cancer, imaging of gynecological cancers using MRI and PET.
