Brief Biography:
Prof. Dr. Jing Liu is a famous neonatologist in China, he is the Leader and Director of the centre of neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), Bayi Children’s Hospital Affiliated With General Hospital of Beijing Military Command. This is the biggest NICU in China, which including four divisions, they are Full-term NICU, Preterm NICU, Extreme-preterm NICU and Surgical NICU, respectively. He has published over 170 papers as a first or corresponding author, 8 books and Chapters in Books. His research work has been supported by China Natural Science Foundation and China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, etc., and he has won ten awards for science and technology of the government of China.

Research interests:
Fetal-neonatal brain damages, including neonatal hypoxic–ischemic encephalopathy (HIE), periventricular white matter damage, cerebral infarction, intracranial hemorrhage, and those related to intrauterine growth restriction, etc.
Fetal-neonatal lung disease, such as the development of fetal lungs, birth asphyxia, respiratory distress syndrome in term and preterm neonates, etc.
