Brief Biography:


Dr. Anil Nair is the chairman of neurology at Quincy Medical Center and director of the Alzheimer’s disease center, www.TheAlzCenter.com. He directs the Amyvid (flubetapir) amyloid PET imaging study and several clinical trials at the center. He is board certified in Geriatric Neurology and Neurology after completing behavioral neurology fellowship (Mayo Clinic, Rochester MN) and neurology residency (Cleveland Clinic and Temple University). He is an investigator for the stroke and memory project at the Framingham Heart Study. His teaching responsibilities at Boston University include lectures in the neuroscience program and for medical students. He is an expert in early and preclinical detection, prevention and treatment of Alzheimer's disease and other neurocognitive disorders and dementias. In addition to providing preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients with neurodegenerative and related diseases, Dr. Nair conducts clinical trials in multiple indications, primarily in Alzheimer’s disease. He is dedicated to providing healthcare and consultation services of the highest quality and is committed to building partnerships that increase the independence and quality of life of patients with dementia.
