Brief Biography:
Dr Ralph Schneider studied medicine at the UniversityofRegensburgfrom 2001 - 2007. He started his surgical training in Koblenz and is resident at the Department of Visceral, Thoracic and Vascular Surgery at the Philipps University of Marburg since August 2008.

Research interests:
My scientific interest comprise colorectal cancer, especially hereditary non-polyposis colorectal cancer (HNPCC; Lynch syndrome). The efficiency of information and screening in families with Lynch syndrome is one of his main interests. A second scientific focus is endocrine surgery and especially secondary hyperparathyroidism including the analysis of surgical procedures and outcome of patients undergoing parathyroidectomy.
