Brief Biography:


After receiving a bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from King Saud University (1994), Sinaa Alaqeel completed her Master degree in Healthcare and Clinical Services pharmacy (1997) and PhD in pharmacoeconomics (2004) at the University of Manchester, United Kingdom. She is currently serves as the Deputy Chairperson department of clinical pharmacy, college of pharmacy, King Saud University, Saudi Arabia. Dr Alaqeel teaches pharmacy law and ethics, pharmacy management, pharmacoeconomics, research design, and evidence based practice courses to undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy students. She is a member of the Saudi Pharmaceutical Society and the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research.

Research interests:


My research interests lie in the major areas of pharmacoeconomics and efficiency in resources allocation. I have an intense interest in conducting research which examines medications safety, prescribing quality and factors influencing adherence to medicine use.
