1. AS INTERN IN VSS MEDICAL COLLEGE:
One-year compulsory rotatory internship at VSS Medical College, Sambalpur, India from December 2003 to December 2004.
Internship comprised of training under supervision in clinical (out-patient, in-patient and emergency services), academic and research activities in various specialties.
Postings in Departments of Internal Medicine and Casualty for 3 months (included Internal Medicine, Dermatology and Pediatrics).
General Surgery for 3 months (included general surgery, burns and plastic surgery, Orthopedic surgery, Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology and Accident & emergency).
Obstetrics and Gynecology for 3 months (included obstetric Labor room, Gynecology outpatient and pediatric surgery) and Preventive and Social Medicine for 3 months (included full time posting in Rural Health centers and remote area clinics).
2. AS RESIDENT IN ORTHOPAEDIC SURGERY:
As Orthopaedic resident in Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh: July 2005 to June 2008.
Underwent the 3 years structured and comprehensive postgraduate training in Orthopaedic Surgery and obtained MS (Master of Surgery) in Orthopaedics at the end of the training in June2008.
Obtained training in all the sub-specialties of orthopaedics during postings in Trauma ward, Accident & Emergency ward, Orthopaedic Speciality ward in Nehru Hospital, a 1800 bedded multispeciality post graduate teaching hospital, which is a major tertiary care referral hospital in north western India.

What I think of the idea behind WebmedCentral:


Webmed central plus is a good initiative by the team. I expect that we will receive good scietific works for publication. I still think that our peer review process is still weak.Authors are also uploaing their articles without processing their article properly, Webmed central team should formulate a guideline for the authors for article publication.
