Introduction
Mortality from malaria in children under five years is about 25% or 30%?
And without extensive references and punctuation errors.
Methodology
As patients were randomized?
Missed a better description.
Results
They do not have adequate statistical analysis.
Not consistent with the objectives of the study.here are many confounding and missing data
Conclusion
The conclusion of the study goes beyond the limits. You can not draw this conclusion with the goals and results. -

Other Comments:
1. Too many missing data points.
2. No statistical analysis
3. What is the incidence rate of malaria
4. It is a simple case report type paper. I would pefer case-control study with in-depth stat analysis.
5. Children under 5 yrs. may not be selected by the drug earlier. Therefore, they are susceptible to ACT treatment. I would love to see the drug resistance status and a detail study.
6. However, it is a short limited informative paper written with clear consise English.

Coartem threrapy rapidly clears malaria infections in pediatric populations. Yes, it is important because malaria is largest single agent killer in pediatrics.
No, ACT are the standard of care for malaria treatment, especially in pediatric populations.
Yes, ACT are commonly used in the treatment of pediatric malaria. The population studied is appropiate since most of malaria deaths occur in children under the age of 5.
No, the authors assumed that lack of returning to the HF PMV equates cure of malaria infection, that may not be the case.
NA
The study would benefit from a more strict endpoint, perhaps some diagnostic testing post coartem therapy. HFs and PMVs may not be the right setting for this type of study, the drop off rate between treatment and endpoint is too high.
Diagnostic experiments would strengthen the paper, access to these test is a challenge in malaria endemic countries but there are currently new simple, affordable, and reliable diagnostic tools being developed.
I would like to see this data presented with other ACT data.
