FUNGAL NAIL INFECTIONS
Posted by Dr. Pramod Kumar on 01 Nov 2016 04:20:07 PM GMT

This is an UNSCIETIFIC WRITE UP NOT MORE THAN AN ANECDOTE at the best WITHOUT EVEN VALIDATING the infection prior or after treatment. This DOES NOT BELONG TO A SCIENTIFIC JOURNAL..

  • competing interests: NONE
  • Invited by the author to make a review on this article? :
  • Experience and credentials in the specific area of science:

Infections in scientific writing have to be PROVED to be existing in the affected area by Potassium Hydroxide mount or Culture ( in case of FUNGUS), which was NOT DONE in this arite up.....and NEITHER was it repeated post treatment to confirm the eradication of infection or success as the author may like it. Hence this write up is NOT more than a ANECDOTAL report as pointed out by a reviewer already  and should NOT BE SEEN as a SCIENTIFIC paper.

Fungal infections especially of nails are TREATED with SYSTEMIC ANTIFUNGALS as for toe nails it may take several months.
