The article was originally written for the college magazine. It was mean to share an opinion. We are uncertain as how many medical schools are reviewing their curricula and methods of delivering their lectures. To reply to the reviewers, there are plenty of references however it is not mentioned in the write up as an evaluation is ongoing and the results should be known in the near future. How can one compare PBL's with delivery of a lecture? I am not sure he understands that there are many versions of it and certainly he is entitled to his opinion. What we, as medical enthusiasts are propagating is for every teacher in the process of teaching it is important there is something different than what was practised before in their craft.
Our sole objective is not only to empower our students in furthering their knowledge but inspire them to be active learners.
