Dr. Prachi Saxena

Research Assistant
Dr. H. S . Gour University Sagar M.P.
G,A,D Colony

Brief Biography:

Prachi Saxena accomplishes her Ph.D. in Natural Product Chemistry and Organic Chemistry from Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, formerly University of Saugor Madhya Pradesh on “Phytochemical Investigation of some Indegenous Anti-Asthmatic plants”. In her research role, she has elaborated the investigation of the plant’s extract in order to interpret their antiasthmatic properties. Her work involves a very defined and systematic approach, utilizing the scientific methodology and tools like extraction, chromatographic analysis, spectroscopic analysis (UV, FTIR, HNMR, 13 CNMR, FABMS), structural elucidation. In her stride of tasks, the antiasthmatic screening of compound has unveiled many complex chemical structures in these Natural resources. Prachi has master’s degree in Organic Chemistry and Polymer chemistry from Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya. She joined the University as a researcher and teaching assistant where she gained a stimulating experience of developing the methodology for synthesis of polymer. She extended her capability in the field of Organic Chemistry, Chemistry of Natural Products, Isolation and Identification of Natural Products and Polymer Chemistry. She has assisted the seniors and attained the understanding in the research field of organic chemistry in collaboration of polymer chemistry by synthesizing a nano hydrogel polymer and learning its PH and temperature behavior, highlighting various applications in the field of medical and food technology. She has been involved in various activities conducted by university and has played a vital role in the National and International conferences, seminars, workshops held at university level as team leader. Very recent, she represented in Solarcon International Conference organized by Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI) at Bangalore ITPL. She has successfully accomplished the workshop on PV Standard-from Materials and Manufacturing to Systems conducted by SEMI, India in association with IEEE-SA (the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers standards Association) and IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) standards. Prachi has publications in various international and national conferences. She has significantly contributed to the scientific community by publishing her work in the reputed journals such as Indian Science Congress, Advance Polymer Association, National Science Day, M. P. Council of Science and Technology, Bhopal (M.P.). Her contribution as Peer review in ISCA (Indian Science Congress Association) is highly valued. Her contribution to Children Science Congress satisfies her most as she values her time and efforts in igniting the young brains. Prachi has joined as Lecturer in the Govt. H.M. Home Science & Science Women’s College, Jabalpur, and Madhya Pradesh and expanded her scope in the areas of Polymer Science, Spectroscopy, Organic Chemistry and Pharmacognosy to the Postgraduate scholars as well as for Undergraduate scholars. She has led the scholars in conducting Laboratory-scale practical. She is also an active member of various professional bodies like Advance Polymer Association (-Life member), Department of Science and Technology (-Annual Member), International Journal of Chemical Research (-Reviewer), Asia-Pacific Chemical, Biological & Environmental Engineering Society (APCBEES) (-Associate Editor) and Recently she has awarded with Fellow membership of International Science Congress Association (ISCA). Over all, Prachi has 10 years of experience in teaching whereby she found herself intrigued by the research activities. Till date she has supported various programs in Polymer technologies and Natural Product Chemistry Program and has been invited for delivering lectures in many programs.Out of Work, she enjoys kathak dancing, music and involved in various voluntary activities.

What I think of the idea behind WebmedCentral:

My motive to join the group to provide the better research platform to ignite young mind who have various ideas to innovate. Apart from this I would like the institution to get bright future in field of various symposiums. I would like to provide the platform of better research paper to establish a strong foundation for solutions, resources and potential.
