Brief Biography:

I am presently working as project Scientist in University of California, San Diego. My present research is mainly focused on investigating the signal transduction events operational in stromal compartment which leads to tumorigenicity. Specifically, my studies are focused to dissect the signaling pathways in macrophages which promote tumor growth, metastasis and M2 macrophage polarization. The polarization of macrophages into M2 phenotype is a novel paradigm for the treatment of cancer. I have a broad background in the field of biochemistry and molecular biology. I established different metastasis mouse models and have successfully performed in vivo experiments in different genetic mouse models.
I am also working on investigating the role of PTEN-PI3 Kinase pathway in hypoxic degradation of hypoxia inducible factor (HIF1α). In addition to this, I am extensively involved in the development of targeted therapies for recurrent pediatric brain tumors.

What I think of the idea behind WebmedCentral:

Webmedcentral covers all most all subject & most of the disease. I saw the published papers of your publishing group. I am very impressed with all manuscripts which published in your journals. I want to be a reviewer of this group.
