Brief Biography:
I have obtained post graduate degree in Bioinformatics in 2005 and explore the potential of this subject in academic and research area. Therefore, I have joined Super Computer Aided Biotechnology Research Center (a public private joint venture of BTIB Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and University of Agricultural Sciences Bangalore(UASB)) at Bangalore as Junior Scientist. I have learn various methods related to high performance computing and networking by using open source technologies. By the grace of Prof. M.S. Yatnatti, I have received opportunity to supervise various bioinformatics dissertations and trainings. Later, I have taken an assignment to assist Prof. S. Rama Rao in the cellular characterization of endemic plants in north-eastern India by using appropriated cytogenetical markers at Plant Molecular Biotechnology Laboratory, Department of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong. Finally, I have joined Delhi University as a scholar, initially I worked at Department of Plant Molecular Biology and than in Department of Botany. By the generous support of Dr. Surekha, Dr. Manu, Dr. Goel, Prof. Amar and Dr. Arun, I would have been able to obtain, analyze and assess biologically significant information from high-throughput sequencing data i.e. related to small RNA and mRNA transcriptome.
Academic positions:
