Brief Biography:


RESEARCH AND WORK EXPERIENCE:-

Fellowship: Two year fellowship from Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India for M.Sc. Environmental Biotechnology at Shivaji University, Kolhapur, Maharashtra (India) from April 2007 - March 2009.

Research Grant: Research Grant from Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India for carrying out summer training cum project work on Photo-catalysis for Environmental Applications under the topic “Selective oxidation of Nitrobenzene” at Environmental Material Division, National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI), Nagpur-440020 for two months in 2008.


RESEARCH AND WORK EXPERIENCE:-


Completed project entitled “Photo-catalytic degradation of volatile organic compounds (like Nitrobenzene & BTEX)” in Environmental Material Division (EMD) at National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI), Nagpur (2008).

Completed project entitled “Decolourization of Textile Dyes (Congo red) by Pseudomonas EBD strain” at Shivaji university, Kolhapur (2009). Worked as a Laboratory Assistant in “Nikhil Analytical and Research Laboratory” (Central Govt. approved for AGMARK) for 1.5 years.

Worked as a QC-Officer in Arch Pharma Lab., Badlapur, Navi mumbai for 4 months Completed project in National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI), Nagpur as a Project Assistant (level-II) in Environmental Biotechnology Division (EBD) under project entitled “Water quality analysis of Ganga/Bhagirati river in the Himalayan regions” sponsored by THDC (2009- 2011).

Completed project entitled “Studied on Bacterial Disinfection by VUV-UV Excimer Sources” in Environmental Virology Division (EVC) at National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI), Nagpur as a Project Assistant (level-III) (2012 2013).

Presently involved in “CSIR-NCAM” project at National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI), Chennai as a Project Assistant (level-III) in Environmental Biotechnology Division (EBD) since October 2013.
