RESEARCH ENDEAVOURS AND ACTIVITIES

1. Current

1.1. Application of ultrasound biomicroscopy in paediatric ophthalmology for:

• Study of Lisch Nodules in cases of Neurofibromatosis

• To study and describe congenital anterior lentiglobus resulting from abnormalities in the posterior capsule.

1.2. Prevalence and Outcome of Uveitis in Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis

1.3. Designing a new Pediatric Ophthalmology Examination Chair especially designed for the pediatric ophthalmology setup useful for examination as well as therapeutic use.

 

2. Past

2.1. Genotypes and phenotypes in patients with retinal dystrophies.

2.2. Genotypic Variation across the spectrum of Lucentis response in AMD Patients

2.3. Using different techniques for small incision cataract surgery and its comparison with ‘Fish Hook Technique’ for nuclear extraction.

2.4. Study of Topical Anaesthesia versus Peribulbar Anaesthesia in patients operated with phacoemulsification.
