Research projects performed with financial grants from pharmaceutical industries:
1. Modification of the expression of the component of GH/IGF1 axis in patients affected by Crohn’s disease: role of the gastrointestinal inflammation and reversibility of the GH/IGF1 axis blockade by anti-TNF treatment.
2. Quantitative analysis with a mathematic model of the MRI post-contrastographic enhancement curves kinetics in Crohn’s disease patients, pre and post anti TNF-? treatment. 3.Evaluation of the bFGF and VEGF epithelial receptor modification with immunochemistry and molecular analysis (PCR), in patients affected by ileal Crohn’s disease treated with anti TNF-?.
