Brief Biography:


Tamer is currently a Professor in the Department of Computer and Software Engineering at Misr University for Science and Technology (MUST). He teaches undergraduate courses for the Department as well as graduate courses in the Department of Dental Materials at Cairo University. Dr. Tamer has received the M.Sc. degree in Computer Diagnosing Systems in 2008, and the Ph.D. degree in Modeling Tissue Engineering Systems in 2011; from Systems & Biomedical Department, Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University. Dr. Tamer’s background has provided him considerable experience in all levels of management, materiel acquisition, and research development. Career highlights include 3 years as a senior teaching assistant of computer engineering; around 5 years assisted teaching core computer engineering courses i.e. Computer Networks, Programming& Algorithms and Artificial Intelligence. He led the college team at ROBOCON competition in 2006; and 3 years as a director of information technology and project managements of MATRIX intelligent systems design company.

Tissue Engineering; Medical Imaging; Applied Mathematics; Finite Elements Analysis; 3-D Modeling.
