Brief Biography:

I am an experienced MRI researcher and have worked on a wide range of MRI applications. I can lead and manage clinical imaging research projects via several successful interdisciplinary collaborations. My research on prostate volume assessment using MRI won the 2003 RSNA Research Trainee Award. My research on DCE-MRI as a potential predictor in benign prostatic hyperplasia pharmacotherapy won the 2006 SNIDD Young Investigator Award. My research on MRI-guided tumor dose boost in prostate cancer brachytherapy won the 2008 ASTRO travel award. I was awarded as American Urological Association (AUA) Foundation Research Scholar, AUAF Outstanding Graduate, and NCI R21 Grant for my excellent research on new MRI technique for prostate cancer detection. I was awarded ACRIN Young Investigator Award to evaluate prostate cancer MRI without an endorectal coil at 3T.

Academic positions:

I am a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Division of Imaging Research, Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University. I am an "American Board of Radiology" certified diagnostic medical physicist.

Research interests:

My current researches focus on a novel molecular imaging technique: amide-prostate-transfer MRI, for cancer detection. My research projects include APT-MRI of prostate cancer/bladder cancer/pancreas cancer, and hybrid PET-MRI.
