Dr. Alpesh Patel

Research Scientist
Living Proof Inc

Brief Biography:

I am a Senior Research Scientist in Livingproof INc. My eight of research experience spans diverse fields including materials science, chemistry, and cell biology for applications of polymeric biomaterials in regenerative medicine. My past postdoctoral experience in tissue engineering laboratory of Prof. Ali Khademhosseini (Harvard University) and graduate experience in polymer synthesis laboratory of Prof. Kibret Mequanint (University of Western Ontario) have provided me a strong foundation to be a part of a research area of elastomeric biomaterials development for regenerative medicine. I had initiated and led several collaborative research projects that resulted in novel ideas and intellectual properties (IPs). I have developed polymer synthesis, modification, characterization as well as biological skills during my research years to work in the interdisciplinary area of biology, chemistry and materials science.
