Dr. Noritaka Kawada

Brief Biography:

Biography Noritaka Kawada did his M.D. in Osaka University School of Medicine, Japan in 1992, and has received his Ph.D. in Osaka University Graduate School of Medicine, Japan in 1999. He was a research assistant professor in Center for Hypertension and Renal Disease Research, Georgetown University, USA from 2003 to 2006. Currently, he is an assistant professor in Osaka University Graduate School of Medicine, Japan.


Academic positions:

Assistant Professor, Internal Medicine. Department of Geriatric Medicine and Nephrology. Osaka University Graduate School of Medicine.


Research interests:

Research Interest Kidney disease, Hemodialysis, and renal transplantation. The pathological role of hyperuricemia. Intervention of tissue fibrosis and inflammation. Renal physiology, including renal hemodynamic and electrolyte transport. Hypertension, related to renin-angiotensin system and prostaglandins.
