2002 to 2008: part time general practitioner (part time) and senior researcher at the Research Unit for General Practice, University of Aarhus. From 1 august 2006 part time associate professor in general practice at the University of Southern Denmark. Adjunct associate professor at the Department of General Practice, Institute of Public Health, University of Aarhus.

Professor and head of the Research Unit for General Practice, Institute for Health Service Research, University of Southern Denmark (2008).
