The article is well researched and well written. It has a nice flow identifying all the questions in the introduction and providing answers in the rest of the section. It is nicely divided into several sub-headings and each sub-heading is treated well with substantive information. The illustrations add to the quality of the review.

I have done a lot of work in MHC genes and Genes of Innate Immunity which is important in the understanding of the evolutionary process and compatibility of life (due to presence or absence of genes during gestation). This is important in selection and propogation of life.
