    The authors aim to describe the management of a patient with a maxillary resection who was rehabilitated with an obturator.

    Carcinoma of the maxillary sinus is a common sinonasal tract tumor. One of the main problems with an obturator prosthesis is its weight. The authors cogently state that the rehabilitation of a patient with carcinoma of the maxillary sinus involving the underlying maxilla requires the coordination of an interdisciplinary medical team.
