Other Comments:
The presence of a non-recurrent laryngeal nerve, although rare, is well-documented in the literature. Furthermore, any qualified head and neck surgeon is aware of this anatomic abnormality and thus is always on the look-out during sub-total or total thyroidectomies.
The authors present one case, and a rather straightforward occurence with no further findings. There are no intra-op pictures to aid the case report.
The quality of the case report is sub-adequate, and should be redone with particular attention to grammar.

The authors presented an interesting clinical scenario with good figures. However, the article references were writted in a few different styles. The authors should use a consistent referencing style. It will improve the the quality of the paper.
