  • Other Comments: It is a nice study on antibacterial activity of L. casei. The work is important for developing countries like India. As it indicates conclusively that L. casei would be a beneficial food or therapeutic oral vaccine and can be used against various enteropathogens which are the major cause of diarrhreal sickness. If further studies proves its use therapeutic agent against gram positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus and Clostridium botulinum which are causative agents of diarrheal sickness.
