  • Other Comments:
    1. This manuscript did not clarify certain issues
    2.  Page 3 Line 1: (a) “We observed various …….”

                                          (b) “I learnt to perform……”

                                          (c) “The exposure is very good and we acquired….”

All the above under item 2 should be reported/discussed in “third” person

    1. This case report is meant to be critical evaluation of the WFSA’s training programme and its impact on manpower development. Were there any areas of challenges faced by the WFSA in the course of implementing its aims and objectives?
    2. What is the enrolment rate in this programme per annum? In your opinion is it adequate or inadequate, considering the gross shortage of anaesthestist manpower, for instance, 1 Anaesthetist to 49 surgeons in West Africa?
    3. There is need to clarify whether the WFSA training programme is offered free since financial incapability is a major setback to education in West Africa and other under developed regions of the world
    4. What areas did the WFSA seem to be deficient and need to improve on? Did the WFSA give more consideration to more populous countires among the poorer nations? Can such a move improve on the manpower lack?
    5. The References need to be written using the Vancouver style
