Articles by Dr. Bill Misner PhD - Emeritus (the present one, and an earlier one on Ubiquinone/Coenzyme Q10), represent one interesting concept wherein the 'author is the patient/subject of the study/case report'; and the writing style is interesting as well ("When writing/talking about 'yourself', write/talk in third person" - attributed to Julius Caeser). Nevertheless, the concepts are noteworthy. However, as mentioned earlier, since the 'subject is the author', perhaps the results must be taken with a 'pinch-of-salt'. In this aspect opinions might differ.

Dr. Poduri,
Thank you for your comments, agreed. In the competing interest statement I declared that I was the subject of this case report. I also declared that I financed this case report out of pocket. Now, that stated, please note, I supported that this single 72-y subject within 90-days, had two separate optometrist's eye examinations for purchased eyeglasses both before and after 90-days of 4 x day NAC-eyedrops protocol. The final Optometrist's eye exams showed so much improvement in vision that both Optometrist rewrote new prescriptions for lessor strength prescription eyeglasses. The prescriptions original and post-90-days are reprinted in Tables I
